DAVID J. STEVENSON
PRESIDENT & CEO, Braeheid Management
After completing his studies at Wilfrid Laurier University in Political Science and Business, David chose to work as a strategic business consultant - streamlining business processes, designing and implementing technology solutions for his many clients.
In 1998 he started his own company due to rising demand for integration and automation in the financial services sector. His award-winning strategic use of technology, delivered on the mandate to provide the end-client with the best investment advice and service possible from their trusted advisor, was successfully received across Canada.
David grew up in an environment that taught him the values of family, hard work and charity. Through the years, David and his company have contributed time and funds to many charities, events, public service, non-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
David enjoys his motorcycle, mountain skiing and the challenge of competitive yacht racing. He regularly competes at the North American levels and has competed in the 8M World's and the Sira Cup as well as in 2016 against the trophy's namesake, His Majesty King Herald of Norway and his racing yacht "Sira" where competition and comradery thrived. David enjoys time with his family and actively supports his children's academic and competitive sports pursuits.
Since 1998 David J. Stevenson has been working to ensure that all clients receive the best solution the industry can offer as their primary motivation is to be advocates for the client. Time has proven that the key elements to effective wealth management are best served when provided by service-specific professionals.
In 2005, his company received the Best Use of Technology Award from the Canadian Investment Awards. In 2006 he added Braeheid Management as a division of his financial services automation company to provide distribution for, and referral engagement to, Forstrong Global (formerly Hahn Investment Stewards), the world's FIRST provider of Exchange Traded Funds - ETF only portfolios in separately managed accounts.
Since then Forstrong Global has grown to over $1B AUM (assets under management) and his company has grown to include high net worth clients, foundations and advisors alike, utilizing this model.

Today, Braeheid Management offers clients access to what was previously only available to the ultra-wealthy; such as client named accounts for protection, separately managed accounts, independent administration, discretionary trading, institutional quality investment management, fiduciary obligations to the client, and fully transparent client-centric account management.
